I am surprised it has taken me this long to share a smoothie recipe. Smoothies are a staple in my house. Obviously, smoothies are a tasty drink, but did you know smoothies are a fun way to get a few servings of fruits and vegetables into your diet? Smoothies are quick and easy to make and can also be consumed on the go. Just make sure you have that smoothie jar sealed up tight so you don’t spill it like I did one summer morning last year when I spilled it all over my passenger seat when I was already late for work.

Anyways, here is a recipe for one of my favorite smoothie recipes. It’s sweet and delicious while at the same time will provide you with a refreshing feeling after your first drink. The small kick of ginger helps me wake up a bit, which is always nice.
