The Hepler, Kansas Church is constantly looking for ways to positively influence our community,” says Pastor Rod Scherencel.

“Once again this year the members entered a float into the Fourth of July parade using the acronym FROG (Fully Rely UponGod) as a theme. Extended family and friends combined efforts with members to create the green, pond-themed entry, which not so coincidentally coordinated with John Deere tractor colors, and participate in the parade. Children fanned out from the artistically decorated wagon float and distributed bags of goodies including candy, a toy frog and encouragement to “fully rely upon God” to spectators along the parade route. Then, everyone celebrated with a not-to-be-outdone potluck lunch in the church fellowship hall,” says Pastor Rod.
