In life there are many burdens to bear and hurdles to cross. In these times we may find ourselves “in waiting.”  Some are waiting for a job opportunity, a loved one to come home, a marriage to get better, a family member to be saved or a financial situation to change.

Whatever the situation may be, waiting can be very difficult and discouraging. There are many who have a solid prayer life and find themselves in waiting for the answer.  As Christians, we are in hope for the return of Jesus, but this still leaves us in waiting.

I encourage you that the wait is not in vain nor is it forever. This too shall pass and the race is not given to the swift but to those who endure until the end.  If you are waiting for something big or small, stay prayerful and remember to work the plan while you wait. The waiting time is the time to prepare for what is to come. Prepare yourself for the promise.

Now is the time and there is no other time than now. Therefore, I say prepare yourself and mind during the wait. This too shall come to pass. Remember all good things are worth waiting for.
