The annual convention hosted by the Conscience and Justice Council is slated to be held September 13-16 at the Houston Marriot South at Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas.

The Conscience and Justice Council supports individuals who are not able to worship according to the dictates of their conscience, especially the persecuted. They also seek to transform communities surrounding local churches by pursuing the best interests of others.

Featured speakers for the three-day event will be Wintley Phipps, founder and chairman of The Dream Academy, The Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee, U.S. Representative, and Lincoln Steed, editor of Liberty Magazine. Other presenters include Message Magazine editor Carmela Monk Crawford, Orlan Johnson, PARL director for the North America Division of Seventh-day Adventists, and Leslie Malachi Watson, director of African American Ministries Leadership Council, People for America Way.
